Data policy
What data do we collect, and how do we collect it? When you sign up for a bunny.net account, we collect your full name, email address, and postal address. This information allows us to provide our services and, in some cases, verify your payment details when you top up your account. You can find more information about our third-party payment gateways below.
bunny.net does not share any personal data with third parties except when required for the service to function properly. This information is only collected during account registration and only if the user enters it voluntarily. We do not store any personal information about your visits that is not explicitly provided.
By registering at bunny.net, the user is deemed to have given consent to the processing of their personal data. Registration and account creation are not possible without submitting the required information. The account will not function beyond the trial period if the user does not complete the registration process. Providing personal data is both a contractual requirement and a condition necessary to enter into a contract. If the user does not provide the requested information, a business relationship with bunny.net cannot be established, and services cannot be performed.
bunny.net processes personal data based on the following legal grounds:
1. The data subject has given consent to the processing of their data.
2. Processing is necessary to perform a contract with the data subject and to take steps toward the conclusion of a business relationship.
3. Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which bunny.net is subject. This includes data that bunny.net is required to retain or provide under tax and accounting regulations.
How long we retain your data
Personal data will be removed after the contract ends or the user’s account is deregistered. If there are any outstanding liabilities, bunny.net will retain the necessary personal data to exercise its legal rights until all payments have been settled. Personal data included in tax and accounting documents will be retained for the period required under applicable tax and accounting regulations.
How we protect your data
We take strong measures to protect your data by using the latest encryption methods and ensuring that sensitive information, such as your passwords, is never stored in plain text. Encrypted traffic and communication are used across all critical parts of our system to ensure the safety of your data at every step. For added security, your credit card details are never stored on our servers. Instead, we rely on Braintree, one of the most secure payment providers, to process and store your billing information safely.
Withdrawal of consent
The data subject has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal. The withdrawal applies only to data processed on the basis of consent. It does not affect data processed as necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or data required to comply with legal obligations to which bunny.net is subject.
The right to lodge a complaint
Every data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of his or her habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her infringes GDPR.
Other rights

OpenAI
When using the Fluffee chat, our system leverages the OpenAI ChatGPT API to generate responses. Please note that this process involves the use of your data to help address your queries.
To provide users with the best possible website experience, we may collect anonymous information about how they visit and interact with our site. This may include the name of the browser used, pages visited, and points of interest based on mouse heatmap technology. This data is collected through a completely anonymous service called Matomo, as outlined below.

Salesforce will receive billing, consumption, and service usage details. No zone configuration or end customer data will be shared, but communications with bunny.net may be processed by Salesforce.
Tableau will receive your personal, billing and account consumption details such as zone count, usage, or other metrics to help us improve the service, but no zone configuration or end customer data will be shared.
MixPanel will receive your personal account details as well as information on how you use our services within the dashboard to help us improve the service, but no zone configuration or end customer data will be shared.
When you register an account with us, Active Campaign will receive your personal, billing, and account consumption information, including details like the number of zones and usage, and other relevant metrics. However, we will not share any information regarding zone configurations or data related to your end customers.
